Audits & Regulatory Compliance Support
Our aim is to support pipeline operators and distribution networks in understanding what is required in order to comply with regulations and most importantly follow industry best practice.
Inspections by the regulator can be a time-consuming and resource-intensive process.
Inspections by the regulator can be a time-consuming and resource-intensive process. Regulatory inspections require information on many aspects of your operations ranging from Safety Management, Integrity Management and Emergency Response. Getting the right information, understanding what is required and communication is therefore essential during a regulatory inspection.
At Pipeline CC, one of our key aims is to provide support to new or well-established operators. We can therefore provide support for inspection preparation, attend inspections and lastly assist you in any follow-up work that may be necessary.
In addition, we can also provide pre-regulatory intervention inspections which can provide an early warning of areas that may need further work or improvements to meet regulatory and legal requirements.
Whether you are a gas network operator, onshore or offshore pipeline operator or supplier of non-conventional gases such as bio-methane, having a clear picture of what industry regulations require of you is essential.
The UK’s Pipeline Safety Regulations 1996 are goal setting in nature and therefore none prescriptive. Our experience in industry and regulatory means we are able to advise on industry best practices and compliance.
